Raw Earth Pottery Design Workshops

Marion Lawrence is an experienced potter, more specifically in hand building with clay.

Marion offers tuition classes and can take you far beyond those pots you made at primary school, you will be amazed with what you can accomplish within a single workshop!

You will learn how to create decorative affects using coloured “slips”, shaping, scraping and carving clay, so may fun ways of transforming clay!

The Studio is warm, comfortable and a friendly place with a rural view of Comboyne’s rolling green hills right on the edge of the village near the bridge.

The fee includes all materials and use of equipment, tuition, firing, venue, morning tea and delivery of your completed work to one address within 100km of Comboyne. Deliveries outside this area can be made by separate arrangements.

Catering for lunch can be organised, or you can find amazing Udder Cow Café open Wednesday to Sunday or Comboyne Takeaway open weekdays in town 5 minutes walk from the studio, or just bring your own meal (full kitchen facilities available).

Workshops are for a minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 participants and can be held any day of the week/weekends by arrangement. Groups can choose from a wide range of available projects and dive in to get your HANDS DIRTY !
