  Either chosen one the workshop will take about 1 1/2 day to 2 days to complete. The birdbaths consist of two parts, one the upper bowl part and second the pedestal which are made separately. You will learn about “burnishing” clay allowing the surface of the bowl to be naturally waterproof without requiring a glaze finish.

  This project requires some strength to roll out and manipulate the clay. Following Marion’s techniques the project stays under your full creativity and design, photos as shown below are a small sample of ideas for scale.
